Make sure that it works before you try to do any of this. If you do encounter any issues in-game, I highly recommend trying to fix it yourself by forking the repository and making modifications to the code, then after committing changes create a pull request to import your code to the master. If you can't get to the client website, here's some download links.īefore you submit any issues, check to see if it's already covered in the support booth: Much of it has made it to Toontown Offline, but Toontown Offline is an actual project. What's so special about this? It has naked Toons, some retro stuff (like retro make-a-toon), classic character transformations, Cog Disguise versatility, TTR's Toon Species, and other stuff. Kinda been in some drama but who cares? Not me. Just like each group, both servers have their perks, and cater to different types and groups of people.Mods of Toontown Infinite. TTR just seems less intimidating to certain groups of people and TTI seems to have their sights set on the actual system things rather than a lot of story and community management. These two groups of people never really got along too well (not just the people I mentioned, I mean the personality types), anyways, so maybe have two (AND NO MORE) private servers is not a bad thing. Also, we know a lot of the people on the "serious" side of the TT YouTube community can have quite a bit of an attitude, no matter how much they load up on the "nice toon" speak on updates that Disney represented and used, I feel like they would use alternate means to get things accomplished, as opposed to doing things the "politically correct" way. It makes sense to not use the Disney characters. TTR is more related to the original Disney server in terms of community management, and that is why I feel it has the upper hand. Songs are pulled directly from the game files. Both groups are great YouTubers, for each of these reasons, and I kind of feel TTI has the feeling of the first group, and TTR has the feeling of the second group. Toontown Infinite Music Collection Donalds Dreamland This account is used to preserve songs from the now-defunct Toontown Online Private Server, Toontown Infinite. Create your own Toon and join the battle to save Toontown from the evil robot Cogs. As in, they were more serious about things and they played the game to basically battle seriously and did not like when people got in there way, and people like Smirky had more of a "nice" outlook on uploading, not focusing so much on battling, but on kind of making sure everybody has a good time and a "kind" outlook on things. Toontown Rewritten is a free-to-play revival of Disneys Toontown Online. The first group was focused on battling, recording it, and uploading it, with kind of a "tough" sort of way of uploading things. Basically, back whenever there was Frizzy, Lefty, Kyle, etc., then the other "side" of people was like Smirky, RTS, etc. We should not trust any other private server, especially those who trick TTR developers and steal their code.Įver since I got into this community in 2012, I felt like there were two sides to the YouTube thing. TTR has the power to create their own content, as we saw with the Toontown Rewritten Election. If a private server releases faster than TTR, players WILL join that private server- and refuse to join any other server simply because they're 'ahead' on their toon. With several private servers being released and attempting to give toons Toontown, we're causing the community to split. They don't care how they get it, or from who. TTR cares for the community and the story line, and wants their release to be as perfect as possible (you can take for example the poor release of TTH). They show more gameplay than TTR but that does not mean TTR has finished any of the mechanics that TTi's video shows. TTi is nothing but a copy of TTR and a blatant ripoff. This trojan virus gave the TTi member all of the TTR files and began using it to develop their own Toontown private server. One of the members hung out in the Toontown Rewritten IRC group and gave one of the lead developers of TTR a trojan virus/RAT. Toontown Infinite is developed by a previous Toontown hacking group. Toontown Infinite recently released this video showing some of the gameplay available in their game. I wanted to give you a short explanation of what TTI (Toontown Infinite) is and how we need to prevent it from becoming a major influence on this community.
